Welcome to Atelier Luje.
I create for you unique, made-to-measure garments. I design the outfit according to your morphology as well as your vision, requirements and desires.
During the first appointment, I make several sketches that we can rework as needed.
Once a sketch has been validated, I make a canvas and we have several fittings until everything is perfect. We then choose the fabrics together and I finally make your garment.
The first appointment is non-binding. Feel free to make a reservation by e-mail or call me to discuss your ideas.
I make civil wedding dresses, ceremony dresses and evening gowns, as well as gala, cocktail and casual chic outfits for those who need to be impeccably dressed for work.
Time Line
Contact by email or telephone: you explain me your project and let me know when you need it. We set up an appointment to meet.
Discovery appointment (1h to 2h): You tell me about the style of garment you would like and the type of event you plan to wear it to. I make suggestions by drawing and correct them according to your preferences. If my offer suits you, I take your measurements and we agree on a date for the 1st fitting.
1st fitting (1h): I have you try on the fabric and I adjust it so that it fits you perfectly. Everything is still possible: we can modify necklines, lengths, sleeve shapes, etc. to make sure everything is just as you imagined. We then validate the final fabrics.
2nd fitting (1h): You finally try on the garment in the real material! We adjust the fabric if necessary and I pin the hem. The outfit is practically finished and you can easily project yourself in it.
Handing in the dress/garment(15 min): You pick up your precious garment at the atelier. If you wish, you can try it on one last time to reassure yourself and dream of the d-day!
